The Arvada Counseling Center, Inc. is an Alcohol Drug Abuse Division (ADAD) approved facility that currently offers Level II Education and Level II Therapy classes for individuals with DUI or DWAI offenses. These classes are taught in accordance with the Driving With Care manuals prepared by Kenneth W. Wanberg, Harvey B. Milkman, and David S. Timken. Our Level II counselors have a master's degree and/or a Certified Addictions Counselor Certificate and have gone through specific training to teach the Driving With Care manuals.
Level II Education classes are currently offered at the following times:
Monday nights from 5:30-7:30 pm
Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00 pm
Level II Therapy classes are currently offered at the following times:
Monday nights from 5:30-7:30 pm
Monday nights from 7:30-9:30 pm
Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30 pm
If you are interested in signing up for these classes please come to our office, bringing any court documentation you have, between the hours of 10:30 am and 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday or between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Friday to complete our intake paperwork and set up your intake session. This paperwork takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
Our initial intake appointment takes approximately 20 minutes and has a $35 charge. Each group class has a $27 charge. There is a one-time fee of $25 for the Level II Education manual and $25 for the Level II Therapy manual.
